The BCN is raising awareness of the conservation needs of birds throughout our region. Consulting with land managers, educating, participating in public dialogue, working with policymakers, raising awareness through media … all these volunteer efforts can use your help. Bring your talents to our cause, be they writing, enthusiasm and concern, skilled negotiating, or willingness to call and stuff and staple. We have many exciting campaigns and projects ahead of us. We hope you’ll join us.

Monitoring Committee

Help to plan the future of the BCN Census. Recruit volunteers, identify important areas, plan workshops, attract researchers, publicize results.

Conference Committee

Plan future conferences and educational events.

Media and Publicity Committee

Publicize BCN events, and plan ways to raise the media profile of bird conservation issues.

Conservation Campaigns

Represent BCN in important regional conservation initiatives.
