ORCHARD ORIOLE

The Orchard Oriole is an uncommon to fairly common breeder in the CW Region and common farther to the south. Breeding habitat includes open shrublands, grasslands with hedgerows, and savannas. This species is generally declining in the Midwest, but BCN Survey data shows that this species is increasing significantly in the Chicagoland area. Photo: © Eric Secker
