BLUE-WINGED WARBLER

The Blue-winged Warbler is an uncommon breeder in the CW Region. Preferred habitats include dense shrublands with canopy and forest edges, including marginal habitats with invasive shrubs. This species has been extending its range northward into our area, so trends here may not reflect the trends in other regions. Data on this species is still sparse, and some June records may represent late migrants. Accurate trends cannot be calculated. Photo: © Jerry Kumery
