All hotline reports from 1995 to present can be searched using the form above.  Please note that most recent three or four reports may not yet be included.  Also, remember to spell the bird name correctly and place it in quotes to limit your results.  See the tips below for details.

SEARCH FOR A SPECIES: To search for one specific species, type in the official species name in quotes.  For example, if you want reports of Yellow-Throated Warblers, type ["Yellow-Throated Warbler"] (include the quotation marks).  Also remember the hyphen (-) that is present in many bird names.  See the DuPage Checklist for the official names of birds.

Typing Yellow Throated Warbler will return a LOT of results for a LOT of different birds (eg. Yellow-Breasted Chat, Prairie Warbler, White-Throated Sparrow, Yellow-Throated Vireo).  Typing "Yellow-Throated Warbler" will return results for only the desired species.

SEARCH WITHIN CERTAIN DATES: To search for reports within a select period of time, add the date range in your search (eg. 2004, July 2004, August, ect.).  So if you want reports of Yellow-Throated Warblers in 2004, type ["Yellow-Throated Warbler" 2004]

If you are having trouble or have any questions about a certain species, feel free to contact the hotline.
