____ DUPAGE COUNTY ____________________________________

On February 28 at FermiLab, 16 flyover GREATER WHITE-FRONTED GEESE
were seen.  The NORTHERN SHRIKE was also present at the south end of
Lake Law.

At Hidden Lake on February 29, a RUSTY BLACKBIRD was seen near the
bridge.

____ KANE COUNTY _______________________________________

On February 27, birds seen along the Fox River included five MUTE
SWANS, LESSER SCAUP, BUFFLEHEAD, COMMON MERGANSERS, AMERICAN COOT, and
COMMON GOLDENEYE.

____ UPCOMING MEETING __________________________________

March 11, 7:00 pm (earlier than usual!). Members' Night. 
At our annual members' night, DuPage Birding Club members present their
slides and digital photos of trips they have taken to some great
birding locations both near and far. It's a terrific chance to survey
some of the many great birding images captured by the club's skilled
photographers. Come out and see beautiful pictures taken of many great
birds and wonderful places!

Saturday, March 6, 2004, 8:00 a.m. Montrose & Chicago Lakefront. 
Exit Lake Shore Drive at Montrose Ave. going east toward the lake. Turn
right the bait shop and park before the construction area. Meet next to
Montrose Harbor, across the street from the Magic Hedge.
