____ UPCOMING FIELD TRIP ______________________________

Saturday, January 24, 8:00 a.m. Montrose/Chicago Lakefront.
The Chicago lakefront can be a great area for unusual gulls and
waterfowl in the winter. We will meet next to Montrose Harbor just
across the road from the Magic Hedge. Exit Lakeshore Dr. at Montrose
going east towards the lake, turn right at the bait shop and park
before the construction area. Dress warmly, bring a scope if you have
one, and a couple of loaves of stale bread if you can, to help chum in
the gulls. We may check out other areas of the lakefront also.
Leader: Geoff Williamson, (773) 935-8439.
