On February 16th there was a hooded merganser spotted at Rice Lake in
Danada Forest Preserve.

On February 17th at the Arboretum, four eastern bluebirds were seen at
parking lot 20a. Ring-necked ducks were seen at Arbor Lake.

Also on Feb. 17th there was a green-winged teal seen at Hidden Lake.

At McKee Marsh on February 18th, three gadwalls and two greater
white-fronted geese were seen.

Since February 2nd there have been reports of a white crow in the
Valley View subdivision in Glen Ellyn. It is often seen in a large
flock around Shagbark Lane.

On February 24th at West Dupage Woods, red-headed woodpecker,
green-winged teal and northern shovelers were seen.

At McKee Marsh on February 24th, six common mergansers, two northern
pintails, four gadwalls, six northern shovelers and green-winged teal
were spotted.

On February 25th at Elsen’s Hill, three brown creepers were seen.
Woodcocks were heard in the area on February 23rd and 26th.
