From DuPage County:
At Fermilab - SCAUP, HOODED and COMMON MERGANSERS have been seen recently. They've been in restricted areas, but keep an eye for them in the public areas. WHITE-CROWNED SPARROWS were seen last weekend on Road E.
Near Pratt's Wayne - JUNCOS, SNOW BUNTINGS and LAPLAND LONGSPURS were seen on Tuesday along Stearns Road between Route 59 and Route 25. The bulk of the birds were seen between Route 25 and the railroad tracks near Pratt's Wayne. The birds were not relocated subsequently.
At Mallard Lake - last weekend, an adult and another, pure white first year GLAUCOUS GULL were seen.

On February 2, look for winter gulls at Lake Calumet with Bob and Karen Fisher. Meet at the O'Brien Lock and Dam at 8am. For more information, call Bob or Karen at 630-985-2956.
