Here is a special report as of 12:30pm on Sunday, January 7, 1996.

A flock of about 10 HORNED LARKS were seen at Fermilab on Sunday in the field east of the Security office by the Buffalo Feeders. Also, in the field northeast of the Security office, across the road, 3 SHORT-EARED OWLS were seen on Saturday evening, at dusk. One bird was seen at this location earlier in the week.

Please stay on the road or park in the parking lot when viewing these birds. Do not go wandering around in the field. The birds are visible from the road.
