The Wilson's Phalarope is a rare sandpiper seen in open water marshes. Good locations include FermiLab, Pratt's Wayne Woods, Pillsbury Pond and on the Fox River. The Wilson's Phalarope is rare to extremely rare in late spring and early fall.
