Snow Geese are usually found among flocks of Canada Geese on lakes or ponds. FermiLab and Nelson Lake are the best locations. They have also been seen at McKee Marsh and on many small bodies of water in Kane County. Snow Geese are uncommon in late fall, rare in winter, and extremely rare during other seasons. Photo two shows a "blue phase" Snow Goose in front and a "white phase" Snow Goose in back. Both birds are of the same species (color morphs only).
