This immature Red-Necked Phalarope showed up at Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (FermiLab) on August 22, 2002.  It was present at the south end of Lake Law for four days.  A Wilson's Phalarope was also present at this location during the same period of time.  The Red-Necked Phalarope is a rare, but often year, visitors to Illinois and very rare visitor to DuPage County.
