Lark Sparrow was first spotted at Greene Valley Forest Preserve in early June.  Later in the summer they were confirmed breeding in the area.  Two immature birds were seen following the adult as well as an immature Brown-Headed Cowbird.  The area where they nested had been recently restored by the DuPage Forest Preserve District.
